design process

From as far as I can remember I always wanted to work with wood. As soon as I took my first woodworking class, I knew that my yearning was in the right place. I'm fascinated by using natural raw materials, my hands and wood working tools to create functional and yet stylish one of a kind pieces of furniture.  I like to create polished but unfinished pieces to give you the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of hardwood.  I am partial to linseed oil and wax, some people like resins and others varnish. What person will you be with your new item(s)? 

Each piece is designed to fit the space you seek to fill and thus can be created according to your requests. If what we offer is not quite fitting your need, you just need to let me find out what you're looking for through consultation (contact us page). Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Then, I get to building!
